Legends Genre: History, Folklore and Alternate History, Seasonal Stories, Historical Fiction, Religious Fiction
Legends: The more I read and discuss history and the effect of events on our imagination and our imagination and intentions on the retelling of happenings, the more I believe that history is, at its best, a collection of stories and facts.
Memories of individuals cannot often withstand scrutiny after the event. We all remember things differently, our memories are affected by our prior and subsequent experiences, our emotional state and even our senses themselves.
So, here is our genre of Legends. Not hard and fast history, but history seen through the lens of memory and telling and retelling of stories.
